This deeply colored purple petunia is from my garden in northeast New Jersey, USA. It is in full, beautiful bloom. The lovely petals look like velvet in this closeup. There are also bits of smaller pink petunias, which make me think of children clamoring to get into the picture. I would crawl in, if I could!
