Buon Biorno! This is a photo of the classic tradition of Italian men to spend their mezzagiorno (extended lunch hour) playing cards, drinking wine and enjoying the fraternity of men. The absence of women is also a part of this tradition. This is a rare shot captured in Bologna, Italy. It was a warm spring day so I had the good fortune to find the door wide open to this wonderful street scene.
